Discovery Holidays

This section is intended to suggest places that you might not think of when planning your holidays but have been developing their tourism potential and where we have made contacts and inroads to help you fully enjoy your holiday experience.
Below, we feature two countries that are not exactly renowned for their tourism industry...but things are changing fast!

We can help sort out an itinerary to suit your timescale and budget.

Malawi -  the warm heart of Africa.  Malawi is a hidden gem untouched by mass tourism
Appreciated by the seasoned African traveller. It is a small country with an eclectic mix of experiences available. From horse riding on the Nyika, boat trips on the Shire, hiking in the Viphya and Mount Mulanje, kayaking at Mumba, diving on Lake Malawi, sailing safaris to mountain biking trails.
Landscape, wildlife, the huge lake and the people – accurately described as the most friendly on the continent, make Malawi one of Africa’s most amazing countries.

Namibia – Africa’s youngest country  - for those a safe taste of what Africa has to offer –
The biggest draw must be the landscapes, the tallest sand dunes in the world at Sossusvlei, barren rocky deserts and contrasting windswept coastlines.
Escape the crowd
Great wild life
. You may have seen the ‘big5’, but Namibia offers an off the beaten track African experience

Excellent roads, friendly guest farms and excellent up market lodges, making it a great self drive tailor made destination

Wildlife, giant sand dunes of the Namib – the oldest desert in the World  - are a must for ‘adrenalin junkies’ on quad bikes
Head North and spend a day with the nomadic Himba tribe
Cash rich and time poor, with direct overnight flights from London on a Friday returning Monday night, Namibia makes for a really adventurous weekend away with a difference.
